Another great activity. I had alot of fun looking for different sites to subscribe to and of course went off on many tangents in the process, but I finally decided to subscribe to Classroom 2.0 and a Dr Karl podcast. Both of these sites have content in which I am interested and the beauty of RSS feeds is that I don't need to log on to the site to be updated. Often you can go to a site looking for new information and nothing new has been posted. By subscribing to a RSS feed, you can see straight away if content has been added. If each
student in your class had a blog and were asked to present something on their blog, by subscribing to a RSS feed on each blog, you as a teacher would not need to go and check the blog to see if anything had been posted. Instead going to Google Reader would be all you need do. Even from a personal view, subscribing to RSS feeds on hobbies, forums etc can be time efficient.
Really pleased you enjoyed checking out RSS feeds. They are a great source of information without having to do the all the hard work.
